With this photo I received an award at the photo competition "Papier macht Schule" as part of a series of photos that show the use of self-produced paper accessories.
Within this „paper collection“ I want to critically point out the modern urge of fashion in a concealed way. Nowadays everything has to look good on the surface. Nobody seems to care about workmanship any more. The main concern lies in a shining on the outside. Comfortability and practictal values don‘t seem to interest and bother anybody any longer. Therefore „normal clothes“ made out of fabric in our generation don‘t differentiate themselves a lot from this paper collection which isn‘t washable and comfortable at all and therefore doesn't fulfill any practical values and solely shines on the surface.
